Whoooopsssss......

I seem to be doing that a lot lately....Doc just let me know that the Amazing Lobster Cam is offline while they relocate - kinda makes you wonder what sort of neighbourhood lobsters really want, doesn't it? They probably object to those redneck sea cucumbers just next door on the bay, or maybe those noisy sea bass players. About time to install a neighbourhood watch I should think!
Well, in looking around for some way to make up to everyone for my mistake, I found another neat Nova Scotia cam - this one is the cam in the shop where they are rebuilding the historic Bluenose II - one of Canada's, if not the world's, best known and loved historic sailing vessels. Along with the cam showing this beautiful ship as she's being rebuilt, there are a number of additional links providing information on this boat's history - and an amazing history it is, as you'll see when you look it up (you ARE going to check this out, right?) The original Bluenose spent half the year fishing the Grand Banks, and the other half whipping the butts of Yankee captains who thought, wrongly, that they had a fast ship.
Bluenose II being rebuilt for future days of sailing glory
That link is here - Bluenose II - take a look and see a bit of the history - and maybe even the future - of our sport.
That's it for the moment, have to get back to prepping for the Toronto Boat Show - i.e., looking to see where I  put all the warm clothes I figured I'd never ever need again....
By the way, check out this sunset photo here at St. Simon's Sound, on Jame's blog...just gorgeous!
