Hi everyone - a quick post....high winds on the Pamlico Sound (15 - 20, gusts to 25), plus good friends here in Washington with a surplus of Sailor Gerry's rum and a spare dock - have necessitated my remaining here in Washington for the weekend. Heading out tomorrow, hangover - er, weather - permitting!
Special thanks to Morris and Liz for their hospitality...stay tuned, will be back later with more news...and will be sailing to Oriental on Monday, there Monday evening, you can see Gypsy Wind at the Cruisers' Dock there by clicking to www.towndock.net and checking out the video - I'll wave, honest! And remember, Beware the Dragon!*
SAIL Magazine will shortly be putting up a video clip of Cuba, featuring yours truly...when it's up, I'll send everyone the link, it's kind of fun, and will give those of you who aren't out cruising (yet!) a taste of what this good life can be.
The good news is, there will be several more Cuba clips, and I'll embed them here for your viewing pleasure...
*(You're wondering what that dragon remark is, aren't you?)
